Anna has a unique way of working and bringing the best out of everyone.

Anna began her dance career training at a local dance school in her hometown of Doncaster South Yorkshire. She began her professional career working as a commercial dancer / choreographer for fashion shows, and a dance tutor across the UK before founding Hype Dance Company, a dance education company in Sheffield in 2004.

She has trained in many dance genres, and teaches Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop styles. Her training has taken her all over the UK to regularly takew part in courses that support her teaching with The International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), along with many other development days. She has also received training and mentoring overseas from independent dancers and companies and is a member of the Training & Access faculty for the Royal Ballet School.

Anna has personally been awarded Arts Council funding for many projects, a Lisa Ullmann Dance Travel Scholarship to dance in Germany, and was short listed for the O2 / Grazia Magazine National Entrepreneur of the Year.
